It happens to all of us. We have a printed document that we need to send to a college. We are away from the office, we dont have a scanner, or, worst, we dont have time for a scanner. We choose to use our iPhone to take a shot of the document and we send it directly to the person via email or text messaging.

Do you see what we did here? We passed our problem to the recipient, who is now the one who has to deal with our mess: i.e. who has to print a photo with colors in the background and unpredictable dimensions.

Wouldnt it be great if we knew exactly how our scan would turn out when printed by the recipient? PageScan allows us to do exactly that!

The better the lighting, the better the quality of each scan will be. When possible, the paper to be scanned should be placed close to a natural light source. Shadows on the paper should always be avoided.

This app doesnt collect any data about the user, at any time. The app requires that the user grants it access to his/her camera and/or photo library, but the app never accesses photos in the background or without the users explicit knowledge of it. For convenience, original images that are captured while using the devices camera inside the app are saved to the camera roll and added to an album called "PageScan". Each shared B&W image is also conveniently saved to the camera roll and added to the album called "PageScan".
